About the 118th Airlift Squadron

The 118th Airlift Squadron / 103rd Airlift Wing is located at Bradley Air National Guard Base, East Granby, CT, approximately halfway between New York City and Boston.  If you are looking for breathtaking tapestry of rolling green hills, quiet forests, winding rivers, charming small towns, and a rugged Atlantic coastlines, where every season paints the state with its own unique beauty, Connecticut is the place for you. 
Recognized in 2024 as the best airlift unit in the Air National Guard by the Airlift/Tanker Association, the 103rd Airlift Wing has continually demonstrated excellence in the C-130 tactical airlift mission. The unit has deployed to both Southwest Asia and the Horn of Africa, providing critical support to forces in these regions. The unit also plays a crucial role in readiness exercises around the world. Recently, our aircrews supported Exercise MOBILITY GUARDIAN and SENTRY ALOHA in the Indo-Pacific Command region, National Science Foundation Support in Greenland and Operation SILVER ARROW in the European Command area of responsibility.
