No. We do encourage applicants to come check out the squadron prior to an interview, this allows us to get to know you more so than what is stated on your resume. 

No. We are transitioning to Bogidope/MilRecruiter and would like applications to be submitted through those websites. We are in the process of scrubbing our hiring guide, and if you find something that instructs you to mail in a hard copy of your application, it is incorrect and outdated. Please reach out with any questions.

No. The 96th is part of the Air Force Reserve. If you email or call inquiring about joining the Air National guard, however, we will be happy to pass along info to get in touch with a National Guard recruiter.

“To whom it may concern,” is perfectly acceptable.

We would like all the documents submitted as a single PDF, with all required documents in them. Due to the formatting of the MilRecruiter website, it asks for them each separately, however, this is not required. 

At this time, we are NOT accepting candidates who require an age waiver. You must be 32 years old by the date of the interview to be considered for selection.
