Job Description
The 63rd Air Refueling Squadron is looking for the next generation of Pirates. Read whole ad for resume requirements. Failure to submit correctly will result in us making fun of you.
We are holding an Undergraduate Pilot Training board for FY27 (this November-ish). As always, here's a list for why you should be a Pirate.
Trade snow shovels for sunglasses.
Serve your country while still having the freedom to build a civilian career. Why choose one dream when you can chase two?
Fighters get the posters. Bombers get the documentaries. Everyone gets gas from us.
Your post-flight debrief ends with your feet in the sand before most people finish their drive home.
Refueling tracks have a funny way of showing up near places people want to vacation.
No State Income Tax: This one will always be on the list.
Whether it’s fighters, bombers, cargo, special operations, aeromedical evacuation, or humanitarian relief, somebody is counting on the tanker.
Pirate looks better on a resume than anything else.
Get Platinum with Hilton or Marriott with your TDYs.
Be the Future of MacDill: You'll be one of the first reserve KC-46 pilots at MacDill as we enter conversion.
If selected and based on current conversion timeline, you will (probably) be attending KC-46 qualification training.
** Go to 63ARS.com and check out frequently asked questions. Because we are testing out the application process on 63ARS.com you can apply there and also submit a resume to 63ars.pirate@gmail.com. **
Application Deadline - 31 July 2026
Resume info REQUIRED:
PCSM/TBAS scores (minimum pilot score 90)
Flying hours (PPL required)
Birth Month and Year (regarding age limits for UPT)
