188th DET 2's F-35 Pilot Hiring Board

Job Board Description
The Arkansas Air National Guard is holding a hiring board in January. We are looking to hire both already qualified F-35 pilots and other MDS Fighter Pilots requiring a TX/IPUG.
The 188th Det 2 has 4 spots for FY27 - F-35 TX/IPUG (roughly a 9 month training pipeline) with 2 years of MEST seasoning orders post training.
Fort Smith, Arkansas is on the southern edge of the Ozarks, an hour from Fayetteville/Bentonville and a 2-4 hour drive to Tulsa, OKC or DFW. The city of Fort Smith is all in on this F-35 mission with this start up detachment planning for rapid expansion over the next 5 years. If you have aspirations of joining a squadron on the ground floor and being a part of shaping its future this is your chance. The Foreign Military Sales (FMS) mission involves instructing various European and world partners on all things F-35. Also a potential for future TDYs to these countries to instruct.
There will be a lot of flexibility to allow hires to get Airline line numbers prior to going on the full time F-35 training orders.
Expect a board to be held January 8th and 9th. This mission set is truly unique with a lot of potential for great opportunities.
