The 187th Airlift Squadron is hosting a Prior Rated Board in Aug of 2026. Interviews are scheduled for 11-14 Aug 2026. Applications are due by 10 July 2026.

We are looking for previously or current qualifed AC/IP/EP in the C-130H and J but will also consider pilots from other airframes.

-Cover Letter
-Resume (including military and civilian experience) 

-Current Records Review/RIP (available on vMPF via AF Portal) (or equivalent)

-Current report of Individual Fitness (available on MyFitness via AF Portal) (or equivalent)

-ARMS Flying Hour Summary
-Flight Evaluation Folder Summary (or equivalent)

-Totalized Last Page of Civilian Logbook

-Copy of recent Air Force Medical Records (1042, Flight Waivers, etc)

-Copy of Official Transcripts

-Any other documents you may wish to provide

 

Successful applicants will be gained into the unit and then attend C-130 Qual at Little Rock AR. The course is approximately 6 months followed by 1 to 3 month of seasoning orders at Cheyenne before going back to drill status.
