Job Board Description
Detachment 1, 119th Operations Group (NDANG) is seeking applicants for both Pilots (11B) and Combat Systems Officers (12B) to support the stand‑up of our new B‑52 Classic Association at Minot AFB. This mission embeds ANG aircrew directly into 5th Bomb Wing operations, contributing to global strike, nuclear deterrence, and long‑range conventional mission sets. This posting is informational only and does not constitute a hiring action; interested personnel are encouraged to review the attached Applicant Information Guide and contact the Det 1 Conversion Officer for additional details. Interviews will be conducted on December 5-6, 2026 at the 119 WG, in Fargo, ND. Please review all of the attached documents prior to applying.

Is the 119 OG DET 1 considering age waivers?
At this time, we are NOT accepting candidates who require an age waiver. You must be no older than 33 years of age by the date of the interview to be considered for selection.
Who should my letters of recommendation be addressed to?
“To whom it may concern,” or “NDANG UPT/UCT Selection Board” is perfectly acceptable.
I noticed a couple of the required items for submission were the vMPF, RIP and the myftness individual fitness report? What are those documents?
Those documents are for military members only, civilians do not need to include them in their packets.
